TL;DR: A fully automatic algorithm for three‐dimensional alignment of protein structures and for the detection of common substructures and structural repeats is presented, so fast that structural comparison of a single protein with the entire database of known protein structures can be performed routinely on a workstation.

TL;DR: It is shown that Nutlin-3a, an antagonist of MDM2, preferentially induces apoptosis and growth arrest in dedifferentiated liposarcoma cells compared with normal adipocytes, and the promise of using this expression dataset for new drug discovery in liposARcoma is shown.
