Amide Bond Formation and Peptide Coupling
Journal ArticleDOI
Syntheses and antiproliferative evaluation of oxyphenisatin derivatives.
Muhammed Kamal Uddin,Serge G. Reignier,Thomas Stephen Coulter,Christian A.G.N. Montalbetti,Charlotta Grånäs,Steven Butcher,Christian Krog-Jensen,Jakob Felding +7 more
TL;DR: The cell proliferation data showed that the presence of substituents (especially F, Cl, Me, CF(3), and OMe) in the 6- and 7-position of oxyphenisatin markedly enhanced the potency in the MDA-468 cell line without affecting the Mda-231 cell line.

Novel betulin derivatives, preparation thereof and use thereof
Garry N Robinson,Carl T. Wild,Mark Richard Ashton,Russell J. Thomas,Christian A.G.N. Montalbetti,Thomas Stephen Coulter,Filippo Magaraci,Robert James Townsend,Theodore J. Nitz +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the use of betulin derivatives as pharmaceuticals is discussed, and the present invention relates to novel synthetic derivatives of betulus and use of such derivatives as pharmaceutically acceptable drugs.

Extended Triterpene Derivatives
TL;DR: The use of triterpene derivatives for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) has been discussed in this article, where the authors describe derivatives of betulinic acid having substitutions at one or more of the C-3, C2-8 and C-19 positions.
