TL;DR: Dejours et al. as discussed by the authors present a discussion on the statut de la souffrance and du plaisir au travail in sociologues, based on the perspective psychodynamique adoptee par l'auteur and les theses fortes.

TL;DR: In this paper, a discussion about the relationship between trabalho and subjetividade can be found, on the other hand, on a discussion between a teoria psicodinâmica do trabalhar, onde a centralidade do trabho and um dos seus alicerces and a TEIA psicanalitica onde esta questao nao e abordada diretamente.

TL;DR: Dejours et al. as mentioned in this paper present a preface inedite les dernieres evolutions en cours dans les entreprises and analyse la maniere dont les methodes manageriales font exploser la souffrance au travail.
Abstract: "Ce livre est sorti en 1980.

TL;DR: Fassin this paper traces and analyzes recent shifts in moral and political discourse and practices - what he terms "humanitarian reason" - and shows in vivid examples how humanitarianism is confronted by inequality and violence.
Abstract: In the face of the world's disorders, moral concerns have provided a powerful ground for developing international as well as local policies. Didier Fassin draws on case materials from France, South Africa, Venezuela, and Palestine to explore the meaning of humanitarianism in the contexts of immigration and asylum, disease and poverty, disaster and war. He traces and analyzes recent shifts in moral and political discourse and practices - what he terms "humanitarian reason" - and shows in vivid examples how humanitarianism is confronted by inequality and violence. Deftly illuminating the tensions and contradictions in humanitarian government, he reveals the ambiguities confronting states and organizations as they struggle to deal with the intolerable. His critique of humanitarian reason, respectful of the participants involved but lucid about the stakes they disregard, offers theoretical and empirical foundations for a political and moral anthropology.

TL;DR: In this article, a pesquisa realizada with profissionais de enfermagem do Hospital das Clinicas da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, MG, was conducted with the goal of investigating as relacoes entre o trabalho, a saude, and as condicoes de vida.

TL;DR: It is proposed that a psychological perspective can help to revitalize the decent work agenda by infusing a more specific focus on individual experiences and by reconnecting decent work to its social justice origins.
Abstract: This contribution, which serves as the lead article for the Research Topic entitled "From Meaning of Working to Meaningful Lives: The Challenges of Expanding Decent Work," explores current challenges in the development and operationalization of decent work. Based on an initiative from the International Labor Organization [ILO] (1999) decent work represents an aspirational statement about the quality of work that should be available to all people who seek to work around the globe. Within recent years, several critiques have been raised about decent work from various disciplines, highlighting concerns about a retreat from the social justice ethos that had initially defined the concept. In addition, other scholars have observed that decent work has not included a focus on the role of meaning and purpose at work. To address these concerns, we propose that a psychological perspective can help to revitalize the decent work agenda by infusing a more specific focus on individual experiences and by reconnecting decent work to its social justice origins. As an illustration of the advantages of a psychological perspective, we explore the rise of precarious work and also connect the decent work agenda to the Psychology-of-Working Framework and Theory (Blustein, 2006; Duffy et al., 2016).
