Group Sequential Methods with Applications to Clinical Trials

TL;DR: A short history of sequential and group sequential methods can be found in this paper, where the authors present a road map for the application of two-sided tests for comparing two treatments with normal response of known variance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of Field Experiments by Least Squares Smoothing

TL;DR: In this paper, a smoothing method was developed to estimate both the treatment effects and the unknown trend in a field plot experiment, assuming a smooth trend plus independent error model for the environmental effects in the yields of a fieldplot experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

An adaptive seamless phase II/III design for oncology trials with subpopulation selection using correlated survival endpoints.

TL;DR: The proposed design adds extra flexibility by also allowing the trial to continue in all patients but with both the subgroup and the full population as co‐primary populations, and controls the Type‐I error rate at less than 2.5% when the phase II and III endpoints are different but correlated time‐to‐event endpoints.
