Test environments and mechanical properties of Zr-base bulk amorphous alloys

TL;DR: In this paper, the mechanical properties of two Zr-base bulk amorphous alloys (BAA) were studied by both tensile and compressive tests at room temperature in various test environments and the results suggest that moisture-induced hydrogen embrittlement in BAAs may be masked by catastrophic fracture following shear bands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deubiquitination and Stabilization of PD-L1 by CSN5

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that COP9 signalosome 5 (CSN5), induced by NF-κB p65, is required for TNF-α-mediated PD-L1 stabilization in cancer cells, and inhibition of CSN5 by curcumin diminished cancer cell PD- L1 expression and sensitized cancer cells to anti-CTLA4 therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

EGFR modulates microRNA maturation in response to hypoxia through phosphorylation of AGO2

TL;DR: The study reveals a previously unrecognized function of EGFR in miRNA maturation and demonstrates how EGFR is likely to function as a regulator of AGO2 through novel post-translational modification, suggesting that modulation of miRNA biogenesis is important for stress response in tumour cells and has potential clinical implications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sialylation and fucosylation of epidermal growth factor receptor suppress its dimerization and activation in lung cancer cells

TL;DR: Increasing sialylation and fucosylation could attenuate EGFR-mediated invasion of lung cancer cells and incorporation of the core fucose by α1,6-fucOSylatransferase (FUT8) would promote EGFR dimerization and phosphorylation.
