Journal ArticleDOI
Graphene and other 2D materials: a multidisciplinary analysis to uncover the hidden potential as cancer theranostics.
Laura Fusco,Arianna Gazzi,Guotao Peng,Yuyoung Shin,Sandra Vranic,Davide Bedognetti,Flavia Vitale,Açelya Yilmazer,Xinliang Feng,Bengt Fadeel,Cinzia Casiraghi,Lucia Gemma Delogu,Lucia Gemma Delogu +12 more
TL;DR: The aim of this review is to show the strong potential of 2DMs for use as cancer theranostics, as well as to highlight issues that prevent the clinical translation of these materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface properties of ultra-thin tetrahedral amorphous carbon films for magnetic storage technology
TL;DR: In this paper, the roughness of 2-nm-thick diamond-like carbon (DLC) films was investigated using Raman spectroscopy. And the authors found that the rough properties of these ultra-thin carbon films are linear in the Young's modulus and G-peak dispersion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal conductivity of ultrathin tetrahedral amorphous carbon films
TL;DR: In this article, the thermal conductivity of ultrathin tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) films on silicon, down to subnanometer thickness, was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Poly(ethylene oxide) Functionalized Graphene Nanoribbons with Excellent Solution Processability
Yinjuan Huang,Yiyong Mai,Uliana Beser,Joan Teyssandier,Gangamallaiah Velpula,Hans Van Gorp,Lasse Arnt Straasø,Michael Ryan Hansen,Daniele Rizzo,Cinzia Casiraghi,Rong Yang,Guangyu Zhang,Dongqing Wu,Fan Zhang,Deyue Yan,Steven De Feyter,Klaus Müllen,Xinliang Feng +17 more
TL;DR: The bottom-up solution synthesis of defect-free GNRs grafted with flexible poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) chains are demonstrated, manifesting promising application of the polymer-functionalized GNRs in electronic devices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Flexible, Print-in-Place 1D-2D Thin-Film Transistors Using Aerosol Jet Printing.
Shiheng Lu,Jorge A. Cardenas,Robyn Worsley,Nicholas X. Williams,Joseph B. Andrews,Cinzia Casiraghi,Aaron D. Franklin +6 more
TL;DR: This work overcome temperature constraints and demonstrate 1D-2D thin-film transistors (1D- 2D TFTs) in a low-temperature (maximum exposure ≤80 °C) full print-in-place process using an aerosol jet printer, and confirmed that none of the device layers require high-tem temperature treatment to realize optimal performance.
