Journal ArticleDOI
Epileptic seizure detection in eeg signals using multifractal analysis and wavelet transform
R. Uthayakumar,D. Easwaramoorthy +1 more
TL;DR: It is proved that epileptic EEG had significant nonlinearity whereas healthy EEG distributed normally and similar to Gaussian linear process and the GFD and the wavelet decomposition through DWT are the strong indicators of the state of illness of epileptic patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
An exploration of fractal-based prognostic model and comparative analysis for second wave of COVID-19 diffusion.
D. Easwaramoorthy,A. Gowrisankar,A. Manimaran,S. Nandhini,Lamberto Rondoni,Lamberto Rondoni,Santo Banerjee,Santo Banerjee +7 more
TL;DR: This paper neatly summarized with the comparison and prediction of epidemic curve of the first and second waves of COVID-19 pandemic to picturize the transmission rate in the both times.
Journal ArticleDOI
Improved generalized fractal dimensions in the discrimination between Healthy and Epileptic EEG Signals
D. Easwaramoorthy,R. Uthayakumar +1 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that there are significant differences between the Healthy and Epileptic Signals in the designed method than the GFD through graphical and statistical tools.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Analysis of biomedical EEG signals using Wavelet Transforms and Multifractal Analysis
D. Easwaramoorthy,R. Uthayakumar +1 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that the Multifractal Analysis based on GFD and the Wavelet Decomposition through DWT are the strong detectors and indicators of the state of illness of the Epileptic Patients.
