Abstract: A centralidade atribuida aos docentes nos processos de reformas educacionais em curso traz novas exigencias profissionais com efeitos sobre a sua saude. Buscando resultados na literatura epidemiologica e ergonomica, este artigo tece relacoes entre o processo de intensificacao do trabalho nas escolas e o tipo de adoecimento dos professores descrito nos estudos atuais. Sobre a intensificacao, sao mencionados fatores qualitativos, caracterizados pelas transformacoes da atividade sem o necessario suporte social para acomodar as exigencias do trabalho, e fatores quantitativos, relacionados ao aumento do volume de tarefas nas escolas. As evidencias trazidas ao texto permitem esbocar as bases de um modelo explicativo para o processo de morbidade docente calcado em determinantes ambientais e organizacionais e suas implicacoes sobre a atividade de trabalho na sala de aula.

Abstract: O artigo procura discutir a atual regulacao das politicas educativas na America Latina e suas consequencias sobre os trabalhadores docentes. Parte da premissa de que um novo modelo de regulacao de politicas educativas emergiu muito recentemente em consequencia do ciclo de reformas que muitos paises conheceram nos seus sistemas educacionais a partir dos anos de 1990. As reflexoes trazidas neste artigo sao resultantes de pesquisa em desenvolvimento sobre o tema, mais especificamente de levantamento documental e revisao bibliografica realizados em estagio pos-doutoral no Laboratorio de Politicas Publicas da Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro. O artigo procura caracterizar sumariamente o que seria o debate em torno de uma nova regulacao das politicas educativas na America Latina e suas consequencias para os trabalhadores docentes, a partir de alguns elementos que permitem conhecer a especificidade deste subcontinente, porem buscando interpretar tais elementos a luz de contribuicoes de autores que vem se debrucando sobre o assunto partindo de diferentes contextos nacionais.

Abstract: This article discusses the predominance of public management models introduced in Brazil in the 1990s, even with the coming of an opposition government. It also discusses the concept of new public management and its introduction in the Brazilian reality. The focus is on educational management in the federal organization of the country with different political orientations in its administrative spheres, identifying contradictions among the different governments, as well as internally to the federal government. Despite the advances related to the expansion of rights, along with poverty reduction and greater social inclusion, the changes promoted by the "popular-democratic governments" did not break with the previous rationality, introducing a fundamental contradiction in the educational sphere as the social movements that form the political base of these governments bring other realities, conceptions and pedagogical practices.

Abstract: O artigo discute as politicas educacionais na atualidade, buscando analisar o contexto que engendra a Conferencia Nacional de Educacao (CONAE), sua principal proposta e os desdobramentos a partir de sua realizacao ate a apresentacao do Projeto de Lei n. 8.035/10 que propoe o novo Plano Nacional de Educacao (PNE). Identifica como principal proposicao da referida Conferencia a constituicao de um Sistema Nacional de Educacao. Procura tambem compreender as razoes que poderiam explicar tal proposicao, apos duas decadas de reformas que apontam para a descentralizacao e desregulamentacao, e os conceitos que podem orientar a organizacao sistemica em educacao. Por fim, o texto busca explorar a relacao entre politicas de governo e politica de Estado, trazendo algumas indagacoes sobre os riscos e as possibilidades de mudanca no plano legal que poderiam enfrentar os principais problemas apontados para a educacao brasileira na atualidade, demonstrando a contradicao entre a proposicao de sistema defendida na CONAE e sua ausencia no projeto de lei do novo PNE.

Abstract: This paper approaches the political and pedagogical scenario in which the policies directed to manage basic education take place. It seeks to explicit the government's conceptions, ac- tions and programs and their interfaces with the supposed quality advocated for this teaching level in Brazil. When analyzing these policies and programs in the context of the reform of the State, it thus points out the limits and perspectives of this process in order to allow building new parameters for the quality and democratic management of public school.

Abstract: The article presents the new national curriculum guidelines for initial and continuing training for teaching professionals in Basic Education, based on the National Council for Education (CNE) decision (CNE/CP 02/2015), as approved by the Plenary Board of the National Education Council, on June 9th, 2015, and approved by MEC (Ministry of Education) on June 24th, 2015. It considers the process of building these new National Curriculum Guidelines - objects of discussion and debate for more than a decade in the National Education Council. This was carried out by a Bicameral Commission which considered the different conceptions and disputes in the field, studies and research on the subject, the legal frameworks highlighting the CF 1988, the LDB and the National Education Plan (2014/214) as well as the resolutions of the National Conference on Education (Conae, 2010 and 2014) - aiming to ensure greater organic structure to the initial and continuing education of basic education teaching professionals.

Abstract: As condicoes de saude e trabalho de professores foram analisadas a partir de resultados de oito estudos epidemiologicos desenvolvidos no estado da Bahia. Os estudos, realizados em docentes baianos, de 1996 a 2007, determinaram as prevalencias dos tres principais grupos de queixas de saude (problemas vocais, problemas osteomusculares e saude mental) e as associaram a caracteristicas da organizacao do trabalho docente. Os estudos revelam as importantes contribuicoes dos aspectos relacionados ao ambiente escolar e a organizacao do trabalho docente para a ocorrencia dos diferentes efeitos sobre a saude investigados. Apesar do carater exploratorio desses estudos, sua analise conjunta permitiu evidenciar que docentes com trabalhos envolvendo alta exigencia tambem apresentavam prevalencias mais elevadas de queixas de doenca. Esses resultados apontam para a necessidade do estabelecimento de politicas voltadas para a prevencao e atencao a saude dos docentes.
