Self assembled V2O5 nanorods for gas sensors

TL;DR: In this paper, hollow spheres of vanadium pentoxide made up of self assembled nanorods have been prepared successfully by solvothermal method by using XRD analysis, the diameter of the hollow spheres were around 2-3μm, while the nanorod forming the micro spheres were with diameters in the range of 100-200nm and are of few hundreds of nanometers in length.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal synthesis and electronic properties of FeWO4 and CoWO4 nanostructures

TL;DR: In this article, the crystal structure and morphology of the as-prepared tungstate nanostructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis and transmission electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlled Growth of WO 3 Nanostructures with Three Different Morphologies and Their Structural, Optical, and Photodecomposition Studies

TL;DR: A photodegradation study on Procion Red MX 5B was carried out, showing that the hexagonal WO3nanowire clusters had the highest photodegrades efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved photocatalytic activity of ZnO coupled CuO nanocomposites synthesized by reflux condensation method

TL;DR: In this article, a nanostructured CuO-ZnO nanocomposites were successfully synthesized for different Zn2+ concentrations by reflux condensation method without using any surfactant, and their photocatalytic activity was evaluated using methyl orange and methylene blue dyes under UV light irradiation.
