Abstract: FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering and can be used for search of flight recorder after incident. Flight recorder (2) comprises sound and electromagnetic wave generator unit (5), power supply (6), changeover lever (7), compressed air chamber (8), rubber chamber (9), parachute (11), flexible antenna (12), recess (13), sound radiator (14), cable (15), connector (16), plug, socket, sling, valve handle and air duct pipes. It incorporates GPS-receiver and control station. GPS-receiver comprises transceiver antenna, duplexer, phase doubler, first and second narrow-band filters, phase halver, phase detector and computer. Electromagnetic wave generator comprises modulation code shaper, delay line, pseudorandom sequence generator, adder, phase manipulator and power amplifier. The transmitting radio modem contains lag line, generator of pseudorandom sequence, phase manipulator, adder, refactor, narrow-band filter and power amplifier. Abstract: FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: computer system for controlling a port container terminal has a dispatch geodetic point fitted with a GPS signal receiver with an antenna, a transmitting radio station and a two-way transceiver, loaders and trailers, each fitted with a two-way transceiver, a first receiver with an antenna for obtaining differential corrections from the dispatch geodetic point, a second receiver with an antenna for receiving the navigation GPS signal. There is paging and two-way radio communication between the geodetic point and each loader and trailer. Each loader and trailer are fitted with six and seven power amplifiers, a third two-way transceiver, a third transceiving antenna, fourth phase detector, a threshold unit, light and sound beacons, a second recording unit, a switch and a second delay line. Each container is fitted with a radiofrequency label in form of a piezoelectric crystal on whose surface there is an aluminium thin-film interdigital transducer of surface acoustic waves and a set of reflectors. The interdigital transducer consists of two comb-type systems of electrodes deposited on the surface of the piezoelectric crystal. ^ EFFECT: high efficiency and broader functionalities of controlling a port container terminal. ^ 7 dwg

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, computer-readable mediums, and methods for receiving, from a sensor array, three-dimensional sensory data associated with an environment of a person. The three-dimensional sensory data is converted into a two-dimensional representation. An obstacle is located within the environment based upon the sensory data. The obstacle is mapped onto the two-dimensional representation and the two-dimensional representation is mapped onto a plurality of actuators within a vibrotactile interface. One or more of a plurality of actuators are controlled based upon the mapping of the two-dimensional representation onto the plurality of actuators to provide tactile input to the person that represents a location of the obstacle.

Abstract: There is stored in a memory an association between each n th one of N content types with a respective n th group of N groups of identifiers (N is an integer greater than one, n indexes from 1 to N, and at least one of the groups has more than one identifier). A beacon sender selects one of the content types for a beacon to be transmitted and selects a beacon identifier from the group associated with the selected content type. The beacon to be transmitted is compiled to include content of the selected content type and the selected beacon identifier. The beacon receiver selects at least one of the content types; and for a plurality of beacons received, filters out from further processing each beacon having a beacon identifier that is not within the group of identifiers associated with any of the at least one selected content types. The network creates the association and broadcasts it in a network cell.

Abstract: A system and method for calculating a position in response to a position request. Observed beacon data associated with the request is used to select a calculation method based on available data for a venue and device capabilities. If sufficient venue data based on previously verified beacon positions is available, a position calculation can resolve floor and venue information. If insufficient previously observed data is available for a venue, the position is calculated using 2D data based on GPS observations. Following the choice a calculation model, the calculation position is returned in response to the position request.

Abstract: Instant disclosure is directed to the processing and transmission of data, namely, to the fields of closed-circuit security television (CCTV), video surveillance, and video analytics. The invention ensures alarm notifications from the monitored facility to mobile devices. The invention can be used in safety and security, communications, transportation, retail, manufacture, sports, entertainment, housing and utility services and social infrastructure. More specifically, there is disclosed a method of transmitting a message from a first computer system to a second computer system, the method comprising: receiving at the first computer system an event and related data (video data and information on the video data), generating a message based on the event and the related data, which includes, at least, a link to the video data, sending the message from the first computer system to the second computer system, receiving the message on the second computer system, analyzing the message received, and, if the analysis of the message received shows the need to analyze the video data, downloading the video data using the link in the message.
