TL;DR: Analysis of the sequence revealed an average gene density of one gene every 4.8 kilobases, and 54% of the predicted genes had significant similarity to known genes, and other interesting features were found, such as the sequence of a disease-resistance gene locus, the distribution of retroelements, and the frequent occurrence of clustered gene families.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combinatorial interaction of cis elements specifies the expression of the Arabidopsis AtHsp90-1 gene.
TL;DR: The results show that the regulation of developmental expression, suppression, or stress induction is mainly due to combinatorial contribution of the cis elements in the promoter region of the AtHsp90-1gene.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genomic organization of hsp90 gene family in Arabidopsis.
TL;DR: Six members of the hsp90 gene family from Arabidopsis thaliana are isolated and sequence comparison showed there is high homology among the cytosolic members while there is less homologyamong the organelle members.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temporal and transient expression of stearoyl-ACP carrier protein desaturase gene during olive fruit development
Kosmas Haralampidis,Dimitra Milioni,Juan Sanchez,Juan Sanchez,Martina Baltrusch,Ernst Heinz,Polydefkis Hatzopoulos +6 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that Δ9-desaturase gene expression in olives is temporally and developmentally regulated in olive fruit.
