Journal ArticleDOI
Preoperative gadoxetic acid–enhanced MRI for predicting microvascular invasion in patients with single hepatocellular carcinoma
TL;DR: A combination of two or more of the following; arterial per itumoral enhancement, non-smooth tumor margin, and peritumoral hypointensity on hepatobiliary phase, can be used as a preoperative imaging biomarker for predicting MVI, with specificity >90%, and is associated with early recurrence after surgery of single HCC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Microvascular Invasion Risk on Early Recurrence of Hepatocellular Carcinoma After Surgery and Radiofrequency Ablation.
Sunyoung Lee,Sunyoung Lee,Tae Wook Kang,Kyoung Doo Song,Min Woo Lee,Hyunchul Rhim,Hyo Keun Lim,Hyo Keun Lim,So Yeon Kim,Dong Hyun Sinn,Jong Man Kim,Kyunga Kim,Kyunga Kim,Sang Yun Ha +13 more
TL;DR: The MVI prediction model predicted the risk of MVI in patients with a small HCC with high accuracy and patients with MVI who had undergone RFA were more vulnerable to recurrence than those who had underwent SR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Therapeutic Effect of Lactobacillus acidophilus-SDC 2012, 2013 in Patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Dong Hyun Sinn,Ji Hyun Song,Hoi Jin Kim,Jun Haeng Lee,Hee Jung Son,Dong Kyung Chang,Young-Ho Kim,Jae J. Kim,Jong Chul Rhee,Poong-Lyul Rhee +9 more
TL;DR: Lactobacillus acidophilus-SDC 2012, 2013 appeared to have a beneficial effect in patients with IBS, and further studies are warranted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low-level viremia and the increased risk of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients receiving entecavir treatment
Jung Hee Kim,Dong Hyun Sinn,Wonseok Kang,Geum-Youn Gwak,Yong-Han Paik,Moon Seok Choi,Joon Hyeok Lee,Kwang Cheol Koh,Seung Woon Paik +8 more
TL;DR: LLV observed during entecavir monotherapy was associated with a higher risk of HCC, especially for those with cirrhosis, indicating that LLV during potent antiviral therapy is consequential.
Journal ArticleDOI
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and progression of coronary artery calcium score: a retrospective cohort study
Dong Hyun Sinn,Danbee Kang,Yoosoo Chang,Seungho Ryu,Seonhye Gu,Hyunkyoung Kim,Donghyeong Seong,Soo Jin Cho,Byoung Kee Yi,Byoung Kee Yi,Hyung Doo Park,Seung Woon Paik,Young Bin Song,Young Bin Song,Mariana Lazo,Joao A.C. Lima,Eliseo Guallar,Juhee Cho,Juhee Cho,Geum-Youn Gwak +19 more
TL;DR: NAFLD was significantly associated with the development of CAC independent of cardiovascular and metabolic risk factors and may play a pathophysiological role in atherosclerosis development and may be useful to identify subjects with a higher risk of subclinical disease progression.
