FDS analysis for multilayer insulation paper with different aging status in traction transformer of high-speed railway

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of non-uniform thermal aging on the frequency domain dielectric spectrum of multilayer insulation paper were discussed and analyzed based on the tested results, and it was shown that the nonuniform distribution of the aging byproducts (except moisture) has limited effects on tested results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Frequency Response Features of Axial Displacement Winding Faults in Autotransformers With Split Windings

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the features of FRA curves under different fault conditions to help distinguish the fault winding and diagnose the overall condition of the windings of an autotransformer.
Journal ArticleDOI

A New Testing Method for the Dielectric Response of Oil-Immersed Transformer

TL;DR: A novel testing method is proposed based on the following ideas: first, the low-frequency dielectric parameters are extracted by using mixing frequency excitation; then, parameters of the extended Debye equivalent circuit are determined based on cuckoo search optimization algorithm; finally, the specific parameters are used to the established simulation model and obtain the recovery voltage curve.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of thermal aging on moisture diffusion in insulation paper immersed with mineral oil

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of aging on moisture diffusion in oil-immersed insulation paper were investigated, and the results showed that with the aging of insulation paper, the rate of moisture absorption increases and the equilibrium moisture content of insulation papers decreases at the same temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Method for Hot-Spot Temperature Prediction and Thermal Capacity Estimation for Traction Transformers in High-Speed Railway Based on Genetic Programming

TL;DR: In this paper, a hot-spot temperature prediction model for large-scale traction transformers based on genetic programming (GP) has been proposed for high-speed railway (HSR).
