Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular characterization of a novel fusarivirus infecting the plant-pathogenic fungus Botryosphaeria dothidea
Wenyi Liu,Wenyi Liu,Du Hai,Fan Mu,Xiaojing Yu,Yingtong Zhao,Bangling He,Jiatao Xie,Daohong Jiang,Huixiang Liu +9 more
TL;DR: Sequence comparisons and phylogenetic analysis suggested that BdFV1 is a novel mycovirus belonging to the newly proposed family “Fusariviridae”, the first report of a +ssRNA myCovirus in B. dothidea.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two distant helicases in one mycovirus: evidence of horizontal gene transfer between mycoviruses, coronaviruses and other nidoviruses
Assane Hamidou Abdoulaye,Du Hai,Qing Tang,Daohong Jiang,Yanping Fu,Jiasen Cheng,Yang Lin,Bo Li,Ioly Kotta-Loizou,Jiatao Xie +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors characterized a positive-sense (+) single-stranded (ss) RNA mycovirus, Rhizoctonia solani hypovirus 2 (RsHV2), from the phytopathogenic fungus Rhiz octopus solani.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular characterization of a novel fusarivirus infecting the edible fungus Auricularia heimuer
Xuefei Li,Kunpeng Sui,Jiatao Xie,Du Hai,Weiqi Yin,Frederick Leo Sossah,Daohong Jiang,Bing Song,Yu Li +8 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that AhFV1 should be classified as a member of the newly proposed family “Fusariviridae”, which is the second virus and the first full genome sequence of a fusarvirus from A. heimuer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular characteristics of a novel ssRNA virus isolated from Auricularia heimuer in China.
Xuefei Li,Xuefei Li,Jiatao Xie,Du Hai,Kunpeng Sui,Weiqi Yin,Frederick Leo Sossah,Daohong Jiang,Bing Song,Yu Li +9 more
TL;DR: A novel positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus was isolated from strain CCMJ1271 of the fungus Auricularia heimuer, and the complete genome sequence was determined and tentatively named "Auriculariaheimuer mycovirgavirus 1" (AhMV1).
Journal ArticleDOI
The complete genome sequence of a novel hypovirus infecting Bipolaris oryzae.
TL;DR: This is the first report of the presence of a hypovirus in the phytopathogenic fungus B. oryzae, and it is suggested that BoHV1 belongs to the genus Hypovirus within the family Hypoviridae.
