TL;DR: In this article, the NuTeV Collaboration has extracted the electroweak parameter sin 2 θ W from the measurement of the ratios of neutral current to charged current v and ν cross sections.
Journal ArticleDOI
Precise measurement of dimuon production cross-sections in muon neutrino Fe and muon anti-neutrino Fe deep inelastic scattering at the Tevatron

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented measurements of the semi-inclusive cross sections for νμ- and ν¯μ-nucleon deep inelastic scattering interactions with two oppositely charged muons in the final state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Smith,Panagiotis Spentzouris,E. G. Stern,M. Vakili,Unki Yang,Ji-Young Yu +33 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an improved determination of the proton structure functions from the CCFR $-Fe deep inelastic scattering (DIS) experiment was presented. But the results were not as good as those obtained in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

K. Sakumoto,Unki Yang +47 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement of the differential cross section for charged-current neutrino and anti-neutrino scattering from iron was presented, which has significantly improved systematic precision as a consequence of more precise understanding of hadron and muon energy scales.

TL;DR: The NuTeV Collaboration has extracted the electroweak parameter sin(2)theta(W) from the measurement of the ratios of neutral current to charged current nu and (-)nu cross sections and presents a model independent analysis of the same data in terms of neutral-current quark couplings.
