Misalignment effects on the load capacity of a hydraulic cylinder

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the behavior of actuators under load capacity with experimental validation, characterizing the critical factors that cause the collapse and proposing useful design criterions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Friction effects on the load capacity of a column and a hydraulic cylinder

TL;DR: In this paper, a study of the influence of friction moments when misalignment effects are deliberately left aside is carried out, and a theoretical and experimental work has been carried out for columns and an actuator characterizing the critical factors that cause the collapse.

CAPACIDAD DE CARGA DE CILINDROS OLEOHIDRÁULICOS: Norma ISO/TS 13725 "HYDRAULIC FLUID POWER -CYLINDERS- METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE BUCKLING LOAD"

TL;DR: This article present an articulo con el objetivo de permitir una facil interpretación de las formulaciones planteadas en the NORMA ISO/TS 13725 for el calculo de la carga admisible de pandeo, con el fin of ser aplicada de una manera rapida y sencilla en el campo del diseno, fabricación, seleccion, and verificación of cilindros oleohidraulicos.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectral Zooming and Resolution Limits of Spatial Spectral Compressive Spectral Imagers

TL;DR: In this article, a rigorous discretization model for the SSCSI architecture is developed, based on a light propagation analysis across the imager, and the attainable spatial and spectral resolution, and various parameters affecting them, are derived through this process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coded Aperture Optimization in Spatial Spectral Compressive Spectral Imagers

TL;DR: An algorithm that optimizes the coded aperture patterns for SSCSI is derived and it is shown that the optimal coded apertures in SSC SI adhere to green-blue noise spectral characteristics, where the degree of green spectral components depends on the location of thecoded aperture with respect to the sensor.
