Binding, Domain Orientation, and Dynamics of the Lck SH3−SH2 Domain Pair and Comparison with Other Src-Family Kinases†

TL;DR: Flexibility between SH2 and SH3 domains contributes to the adaptation of Src-family kinases to specific environments and distinct functions, according to the particular properties of the Lck SH3-SH2 linker which is shown to be extremely flexible.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of Lck-binding elements in the herpesviral regulatory Tip protein.

TL;DR: NMR spectroscopy of isotopically labeled Tip revealed that the interaction with the LckSH3 domain is not restricted to the classical proline-rich motif, but also involves the C-terminally adjacent residues which pack into a hydrophobic pocket on the surface of the SH3 domain, thus playing a likely role in mediating binding specificity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiple Modes of Interaction between Lck and CD28

TL;DR: Comment on the essential role of a C-terminal 208PXXPP212 motif in CD28 for the recruitment of Lck to the immunological synapse in the light of the affinity of different CD28-Lck interactions that have been studied.
Journal Article

Multiple modes of interaction between Lck and CD28 [2] (multiple letters)

TL;DR: In this paper, the essential role of a C-terminal 208PXXPP212 motif in CD28 for the recruitment of Lck to the immunological synapse was investigated.
