Journal ArticleDOI

Test of lepton universality using b^{+}k^{+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays

Roel Aaij, +701 more
TL;DR: The value of the ratio of branching fractions for the dilepton invariant mass squared range 1 < q(2) < 6 GeV(2)/c(4) is measured to be 0.745(-0.074)(+0.090)(stat) ± 0.036(syst).
Journal ArticleDOI

LHCb detector performance

Roel Aaij, +703 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of the various LHCb sub-detectors and the trigger system are described, using data taken from 2010 to 2012, and it is shown that the design criteria of the experiment have been met.

Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for an excess of B̄→D( *)τ -ν ̄τ decays

J. P. Lees, +365 more
TL;DR: In this article, the BaBar data sample was used to investigate the sensitivity of BaBar ratios to new physics contributions in the form of a charged Higgs boson in the type II two-Higgs doublet model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of an excess of B̄→D(*) τ-ν̄τ decays and implications for charged Higgs bosons

J. P. Lees, +340 more
- 31 Oct 2013 -
TL;DR: The concept for this analysis is to a large degree based on earlier BABAR work and we acknowledge the guidance provided by M. Mazur as discussed by the authors, who consulted with theorists A. Datta, S. Westhoff,S. Fajfer, J. Kamenik, and I. Nisandzic on the calculations of the charged Higgs contributions to the decay rates.
