Abstract: Es wurde das Verhalten von Sn3PO4F3 in wasrigen Losungen unter verschiedenen experimentellen Bedingungen untersucht. Dabei wurde festgestellt, das diese Phase eine sehr hohe hydrolytische Stabilitat besitzt. Das thermische Verhalten wurde mittels TG/DTA-Messungen untersucht und die Zersetzungsprodukte rontgenographisch und durch 119Sn-Mosbauer-Spektroskopie charakterisiert. Eine eingehende Untersuchung des SnF2/H3PO4-Systems erlaubte weiterhin, neue Darstellungsmethoden fur Sn3PO4F3 und monoklines Sn3(PO4)2 auszuarbeiten. Hydrolytic and Thermal Behaviour of Sn3PO4F3 The behaviour of Sn3PO4F3 in aqueous solutions, has been investigated under different experimental conditions. It is shown that the compound possesses a high hydrolytic stability. The thermal behaviour has been analyzed by means of TG/DTA measurements and the decomposition products have been characterized by X-ray diffraction and 119Sn-Mossbauer spectroscopy. A detailed study of the SnF2/H3PO4 system, allows the formulation of new preparative procedures for Sn3PO4F3 and monoclinic Sn3(PO4)2.

Abstract: The powder-infrared spectra of different crystalline compounds containing the tetrahedral Cro3- 4, anion have been recorded and analyzed with the aid of the site symmetry rules. In some cases Raman data are also reported. The effect of the different crystalline environments is discussed in detail and comparisons with isostructural phases are also made. A definitive assignment for the internal vibrations of the CrO3- 4, ion is proposed and a new set of force constants has been calculated fron a modified valence force field.
