Electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of electroless Cu-plated PET fabrics

TL;DR: In order to develop the high quality electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding textiles for protective clothing, polyester fabrics were electroless copper-plated as discussed by the authors, and the effects of pretreatment conditions such as scouring, etching, and catalyzation on electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMISE) and physical properties of treated fabrics were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement protocol of women’s nude breasts using a 3D scanning technique

TL;DR: This paper scanned 37 women's nude breasts using 3D phase shifting moiré and explored a measurement protocol to get a reliable boundary of the breast and thereby provided new shape parameters for breasts, which were useful for finding a continuous and natural boundary for the breasts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved surface characteristics and the conductivity of polyaniline–nylon 6 fabrics by plasma treatment

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of plasma treatment on the surface characteristics and conductivity of polyaniline-nylon 6 composite fabrics was investigated, and the results showed that fabric conductivity increased as the monomer concentration increased up to 0.5M and then leveled off, and further increases were achieved with an increase in the number of multiple deposits.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a human-clothing-environment simulator for dynamic heat and moisture transfer properties of fabrics

TL;DR: In this paper, a vertical skin model with two detachable environmental chambers was developed to simulate a Human-Clothing Environment system and to evaluate heat and moisture transport properties of textile materials under severe conditions and during transient states.
Journal ArticleDOI

Research on factors influencing intention to use DMB using extended IS success model

TL;DR: Examining the factors which affect DMB usage intention in order to induce and sustain its continuous usage shows that content quality and enjoyment directly influence intention to use and that system quality, content quality, enjoyment, ubiquitousness, and time pressure indirectly influence intention through user satisfaction.
