Journal ArticleDOI
Spin-valley lifetimes in a silicon quantum dot with tunable valley splitting
C. Yang,Alessandro Rossi,Rusko Ruskov,Nai Shyan Lai,Fahd A. Mohiyaddin,Sukbin Lee,Charles Tahan,Gerhard Klimeck,Andrea Morello,Andrew S. Dzurak +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that valley separation can be accurately tuned via electrostatic gate control in a metal-oxide-semiconductor quantum dot, providing splittings spanning 0.3-0.8 meV, with a ratio in agreement with atomistic tight-binding predictions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrically controlling single-spin qubits in a continuous microwave field.
Arne Laucht,Juha T. Muhonen,Fahd A. Mohiyaddin,Rachpon Kalra,Juan Pablo Dehollain,Solomon Freer,Fay E. Hudson,Menno Veldhorst,Rajib Rahman,Gerhard Klimeck,Kohei M. Itoh,David N. Jamieson,Jeffrey C. McCallum,Andrew S. Dzurak,Andrea Morello +14 more
TL;DR: The quantum control of the electron and the nuclear spin of a single 31P atom in silicon is demonstrated, using a continuous microwave magnetic field together with nanoscale electrostatic gates to preserve the excellent coherence times and gate fidelities of isolated spins.
Journal ArticleDOI
Silicon quantum processor with robust long-distance qubit couplings
Guilherme Tosi,Fahd A. Mohiyaddin,Fahd A. Mohiyaddin,Vivien Schmitt,Stefanie Tenberg,Rajib Rahman,Gerhard Klimeck,Andrea Morello +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the flip-flop qubit is introduced, a combination of the electron-nuclear spin states of a phosphorus donor that can be controlled by microwave electric fields.

Silicon quantum processor with robust long-distance qubit coupling
Guilherme Tosi,Fahd A. Mohiyaddin,Stefanie Tenberg,Rajib Rahman,Gerhard Klimeck,Andrea Morello +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the flip-flop qubit is introduced, a combination of the electron-nuclear spin states of a phosphorus donor that can be controlled by microwave electric fields.
Journal ArticleDOI
A dressed spin qubit in silicon
Arne Laucht,Rachpon Kalra,Stephanie Simmons,Juan Pablo Dehollain,Juha T. Muhonen,Fahd A. Mohiyaddin,Solomon Freer,Fay E. Hudson,Kohei M. Itoh,David N. Jamieson,Jeffrey C. McCallum,Andrew S. Dzurak,Andrea Morello +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the properties of the dressed, donor-bound electron spin in silicon, and assessed its potential as a quantum bit in scalable architectures, and measured coherence times of and, one order of magnitude longer than those of the undressed spin.
