Journal ArticleDOI

Genotype characterization and phylogenetic analysis of hepatitis B virus isolates from Iranian patients.

TL;DR: Phylogenetic analysis revealed that all Iranian HBV isolates sequences were classified into genotype D with bootstrap values of 100%, 73%, and 100% (1,000 replicates each) for S, C, and preS2 regions, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complete genomic sequence and phylogenetic relatedness of hepatitis B virus isolates from Iran.

TL;DR: Investigation of the complete genome sequence organization and phylogenetic analysis of the five HBV strains obtained from Iranian chronic infected patients revealed that the HBV genotype D, sub‐genotype D1, subtype ayw2 dominates in the Iranian infected patients.
