Activity in methane combustion and sensitivity to sulfur poisoning of La1-xCexMn1-yCoyO3 perovskite oxides

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the activity in methane combustion and sensitivity to sulfur poisoning of a series of perovskite type oxides La1-xCexMn1-y CoyO3 (X = 0, 0.1, 0., 0.3 and y = 0.7), prepared by the citrate method and calcination 5 h at 973 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supercritical carbon dioxide extraction and fractionation of oregano oleoresin

TL;DR: The leaves of Origanum vulgare L. (Lamiaceae) harvested in different countries, three samples from Hungary and one from Turkey, were extracted with carbon dioxide in a high pressure apparatus with a 5 1 extractor vessel volume.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kinetic study of oxidative dehydrogenation of propane over Ni-Co molybdate catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the kinetics of oxidized propane over a Ni-Co molybdate catalyst by non-linear regression techniques, and the estimation of kinetic parameters was achieved by solving the system of ordinary differential equations, which describe the outlet of the reactor, and by minimization of the objective function using Matlab software.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kinetics of the liquid phase synthesis and hydrolysis of butyl lactate catalysed by cation exchange resin

TL;DR: In this article, a batch reaction of lactic acid with butanol catalysed by cation exchange resin was carried out in a batch reactor in dioxane and toluene and the reaction rate was found to be first order with respect to catalyst and acid concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Calcium Chloride on the Isobaric Vapor−Liquid Equilibrium of 1-Propanol + Water

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of calcium chloride at salt mole fractions from 0.02 to saturation on the vapor−liquid equilibrium (VLE) of 1-propanol + water has been studied at 101.32 kPa using a modified Othmer equilibrium still.
