TL;DR: In this paper, an applicable risk model has been proposed regarding the condition of museums in the Czech Republic, using this model, the directors of agricultural museums can assess the most significant risks which may jeopardize the sustainability of museum operations over a three-year period.
Abstract: This paper deals with the analysis of risks which threaten the future sustainability and operations of agricultural museums in the Czech Republic. In the section on methodology, an applicable risk model has been proposed regarding the condition of museums in the Czech Republic. Using this model, the directors of agricultural museums can assess the most significant risks which may jeopardize the sustainability of museum operations over a three-year period. The greatest risks, according to museum directors, are a lack money for investment, the inability to retain high-quality staff, and issues with technical support for exhibitions. Assessing the importance of risk is positively associated with previous experiences of a particular type of risk, whereas the association of the importance of risk with previous managerial practice is rather inconclusive.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used FMEA for risk analysis of corruption in public administration with a focus on cities and proposed how to evaluate corruption risks based on modifications to the standard methods.
Abstract: Abstract The article is based on the analysis of the microeconomic foundations of corruption (especially principal –agent theory) and is dedicated to the use of FMEA for the risk analysis of corruption in public administration with a focus on cities. The study proposes how to evaluate corruption risks based on modifications to the standard methods of FMEA. The proposed procedure is verified on the case of a municipal procurement in Bulgaria. Unlike previous researches dedicated to this topic, which were focused more on descriptive and qualitative evaluation of corruption, we show that it is possible to quantify the risk of corruption in the public sector. But we still have to take into account the limitations of this methods.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduce models and tools of effective management, including process management, project management, performance measurement, optimization of activities, and optimization of the number of museum employees, personnel audits, quality models and benchmarking.
Abstract: Effective management is necessary to meet the goals of a museum. Features that characterize effective management are discussed. A key prerequisite for successful management is planning and setting goals. The result of the planning process is the establishment of a strategic plan; a method for effective strategic planning is presented. The establishment of a plan must be followed by the organization of activities so that the plan is feasible and achievable. Models and tools of effective management are introduced, including process management, project management, performance measurement, optimization of activities, optimization of the number of museum employees, personnel audits, quality models, and benchmarking. To achieve success, it is necessary not only to apply management models and methods, leadership and motivation are also important. The ever-evolving world full of uncertainty, new demands, and the onset of the so-called digital era is affecting the activities of managers and staff, who face new challenges. An integral part of management is control.

TL;DR: The differences between museum and private collections are discussed in this article, where the authors identify three approaches to understand the functions of the museum and three perspectives that can be used to look at collections.
Abstract: The museum plays an important social role. It collects and cares for museum collections and performs important functions and tasks. The perspectives that can be used to look at collections are mainly financial – value for the visitor and researcher. The differences between museum and private collections are discussed. The chapter identifies three approaches to understanding the functions of the museum.

TL;DR: Mohammadi et al. as mentioned in this paper used the software ALOHA version 5.4.7 for modeling and evaluating the consequences of benzene leakage in the coke production unit of Isfahan Steel Company.
Abstract: Background and Objectives: The release of toxic, hazardous and fire hazardous substances from storage tanks in process and chemical industries has always been one of the hazards of working people, residents around these industries, and the environment. This study was done with the aim of modeling and evaluating the consequences of benzene leakage in the coke production unit of Isfahan Steel Company. Materials and Methods: In order to observe ethical standards in research, research information was obtained with written permission from Isfahan Steel Company. In the present study, in order to modeling and investigating the release of benzene, at first cycle of the process in the coking plant, and then Existing hazards were identified by performing a risk assessment using the FMEA method. The consequence evaluation in a process unit consists of selecting a scenario, specifying the scenario's specifications, modeling the consequences of the scenarios and finally analyzing the results. For this purpose, the software ALOHA version 5.4.7 has been used for modeling the outcome and evaluation of benzene leakage. Results: The results of simulations show that the most serious risk factor for personnel is the concentration of benzene in the environment. And due to the control room being 72 meters from the corresponding reservoir, up to 169 meters of the tank the concentration of benzene vapors reaches 800 ppm. Hence, people who are at this distance will not be able to escape during an incident. Also, the contour lines of simulating the pool fire resulting from the benzene release, shows that in the leakage scenarios with a diameter of 5 mm, 25 mm and 100 mm, distances less than 10, 14 and 51 m influenced with fire, respectively. Conclusion: Despite the errors in the results of mathematical modeling and the explanation of possible scenarios, simulation of benzene leakage and its consequences, can be used in the formulation of preventive strategies and emergency planning in the coking plant of Isfahan Steel Company. TL;DR: In this paper , the authors describe the principal's strategic planning in improving the quality of education at Bontang City Vocational High School using a qualitative approach, it is based on the intention to describe the behavior of informants.
Abstract: This study aims to describe the principal's strategic planning in improving the quality of education at Bontang City Vocational High School. This study uses a qualitative approach, it is based on the intention to describe the behavior of informants, namely implementing educational planning in improving the quality of education. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data sources in this study were directed at finding data from school principals, vice principals, and teachers. The search for data started with the principal as a key informant by using snowball sampling. then the teachers who manage student learning. The adequacy of the data is based on the saturation of the data, that is if the data from one data and the other data are the same. Secondary data sources are carried out by processing information obtained from the field in the form of notes and documents related to the research focus. Data analysis in this study took place simultaneously with the data collection process, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the principal's strategic planning in improving the quality of education in Bontang City Vocational High Schools are: (1) Implementation of programs relevant to planning for improving the quality of education; (2) School principals prioritize cooperation and maintain stability and sustainability of education quality improvement policies; (3) Managing school and community relations to implement education quality improvement plans; (4) manage teachers and staff to synergize in the planning and implementation of quality improvement, and are highly committed to planning for improving the quality of education in their schools.
