Journal ArticleDOI

The HITRAN 2008 molecular spectroscopic database

TL;DR: The new HITRAN is greatly extended in terms of accuracy, spectral coverage, additional absorption phenomena, added line-shape formalisms, and validity, and molecules, isotopologues, and perturbing gases have been added that address the issues of atmospheres beyond the Earth.
Journal Article

High resolution wavenumber standards for the infrared - Technical report

TL;DR: In this article, a selection of spectral lines as wavenumber standards for absolute calibration in the range from about 4 to about 7000 cm(-1) was proposed, where the uncertainties of these standards range from 4+/-1x10(-3) to +/- 1x10−6) cm−1.
Journal Article

The Far Infrared Spectrum of HOC1 Line Positions and Intensities

TL;DR: The far infrared spectrum of HOCl has been recorded at high resolution by means of Fourier transform spectroscopy, and it was possible to observe pure rotation lines involving rotational levels with high Ka quantum numbers that led to precise sets of rotational and centrifugal distortion constants for the ground states of both isotopomers HO35Cl and HO37Cl.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental Linestrengths of Far-Infrared Pure Rotational Transitions of Ozone

TL;DR: In this paper, a Bruker IFS 120 HR interferometer was used to measure the particle density of ozone even with foreign gas pressure-broadening, employing a combination of absolute pressure data and spectroscopic measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Infrared-Spectrum of HC15NO in the Range 170-1300 cm−1

TL;DR: In this article, the far and mid-infrared spectra of 15 N-substituted fulminic acid, HC 15 NO, have been measured in the range between 170 and 1300 cm −1 with a Bruker IFS 120 HR interferometer.
