Soils and environmental quality

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present an overview of major environmental issues in Soil Science and present the principles of efficient Nitrogen Management and its application in the field of Soil Environmental Quality.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ stabilization of soil lead using phosphorus and manganese oxide.

TL;DR: The addition of P and/or Mn oxide significantly reduced bioavailable Pb in soils compared with the control even after extensive cropping, and the PBET data suggested that removal of P from soluble P sources by plants could negate the beneficial effects of P on bio available Pb.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ stabilization of soil lead using phosphorus.

TL;DR: It is suggested that P addition reduced bioavailable Pb by PBET and has potential for in situ remediation of Pb-contaminated soils.
