Latent max-margin metric learning for comparing video face tubes

TL;DR: It is shown quantitatively how incorporating latent variables in max-margin metric learning leads to improvement of current state-of-the-art metric learning methods for the two cases when the testing is done with subjects that were seen during training and when the test subjects were not seen at all during training.
Journal Article

Crop Weed Competition Study in Onion (Allium cepa L.) under Dry Temperate High Hills Condition of Himachal Pradesh

TL;DR: Significantly highest bulb yield and onion yield contributing characters were obtained in the plots remaining weed-free during the first 60 days after transplanting and resulted in 15.4 tons of onion bulb yield which indicated that the critical period of weed competition was found to be 60 days.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aberrant subclavian artery division and revascularization by a supraclavicular approach for definitive or staged treatment of dysphagia lusoria.

TL;DR: Division and revascularization of the aSA through a supraclavicular exposure in patients with DL result in durable symptomatic improvement in the majority of patients, particularly those without a concomitant KD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of suitable reference genes in blood samples of carcinoma lung patients using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.

TL;DR: β -actin may be considered the most suitable RG isolated and studied from peripheral blood mononuclear cells using RT qPCR in LC, and expression levels of GAPDH and 18s rRNA were comparable.
