Insertion, Deletion Codes With Feature-Based Embedding: A New Paradigm for Watermark Synchronization With Applications to Speech Watermarking
David J. Coumou,Gaurav Sharma +1 more
TL;DR: The watermark presented in this paper not only highlights the utility of the proposed framework for synchronization in feature-based data embedding systems but also represents a significant advance in speech watermarking.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
State-of-charge estimation for supercapacitors: a kalman filtering formulation
TL;DR: This paper presents a Kalman filtering formulation, using the accepted three-branch circuit model for supercapacitors, which demonstrates a significantly more accurate estimate of the buffered energy as compared with the alternative models of ideal capacitance or a recursive computation of the stored energy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thrombolytic therapy of acute pulmonary embolism: current status and future potential
Samuel Z. Goldhaber,Michael F. Meyerovitz,John E. Markis,Ducksoo Kim,Craig M. Kessler,Gaurav Sharma,Douglas E. Vaughan,Andrew P. Selwyn,Douglas L. Dawley,Joseph Loscalzo,Arthur A. Sasahara,Elliott B. Grossbard,Eugene Braunwald +12 more
TL;DR: The initial results demonstrate that, among selected patients, peripheral intravenous rt-PA can rapidly and, for the most part, safely lyse pulmonary embolism within 6 hours.

Multisite, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Pilot Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy of Buspirone as a Relapse-Prevention Treatment for Cocaine Dependence
Theresa Winhusen,Frankie Kropp,Robert Lindblad,Antoine Douaihy,Louise Haynes,Candace C. Hodgkins,Karen G. Chartier,Kyle M. Kampman,Gaurav Sharma,Daniel Lewis,Paul C. VanVeldhuisen,Jeff Theobald,Jeanine May,Gregory S. Brigham +13 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that busPirone is unlikely to have a beneficial effect on preventing relapse to cocaine use and that buspirone for cocaine-dependent women may worsen their cocaine use outcomes.
