Journal ArticleDOI
Comprehensive screening for antigens overexpressed on carcinomas via isolation of human mAbs that may be therapeutic
Gene Kurosawa,Yasushi Akahori,Miwa Morita,Mariko Sumitomo,Noriko Sato,Chiho Muramatsu,Keiko Eguchi,Kazuki Matsuda,Akihiko Takasaki,Miho Tanaka,Yoshitaka Iba,Susumu Hamada-Tsutsumi,Yoshinori Ukai,Mamoru Shiraishi,Kazuhiro Suzuki,Maiko Kurosawa,Sally Fujiyama,Nobuhiro Takahashi,Ryoichi Kato,Yoshikazu Mizoguchi,Mikihiro Shamoto,Hiroyuki Tsuda,Mototaka Sugiura,Yoshinobu Hattori,Shuichi Miyakawa,Ryoichi Shiroki,Kiyotaka Hoshinaga,Nobuhiro Hayashi,Atsushi Sugioka,Yoshikazu Kurosawa +29 more
TL;DR: It is likely that some of the Ags detected will become useful targets for the corresponding carcinoma therapy and that several mAbs will become therapeutic agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combining phenotypic and proteomic approaches to identify membrane targets in a ‘triple negative’ breast cancer cell type
Steven Rust,Sandrine Guillard,Kris Sachsenmeier,Carl Hay,Max Davidson,Anders Karlsson,Roger Karlsson,Erin Brand,David Lowne,John Elvin,Matt Flynn,Gene Kurosawa,Robert E. Hollingsworth,Lutz Jermutus,Ralph Minter +14 more
TL;DR: This study has demonstrated that multiple methods are required to successfully analyse the membranome of a desired cell type and provides a mechanism for rapidly discovering and evaluating antibody tractable targets, which can significantly accelerate the therapeutic discovery process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical significance of CADM1/TSLC1/IgSF4 expression in adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma
Shingo Nakahata,Yusuke Saito,Kosuke Marutsuka,Toshihiko Hidaka,Kouichi Maeda,Kinta Hatakeyama,Toshiyuki Shiraga,Toshiyuki Shiraga,A Goto,N Takamatsu,Yujiro Asada,Atae Utsunomiya,Akihiko Okayama,Youko Kubuki,Kazuya Shimoda,Yoshinori Ukai,Gene Kurosawa,Kazuhiro Morishita +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed various antibodies as diagnostic tools to identify CADM1-positive ATLL leukemia cells in flow cytometric analysis, the percentages of CD4(+)CADM1(+) double-positive cells correlated well with both the percentage of CD 4(+)CD25(+) cells and with abnormal lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of patients with various types of ATLL.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of 89Zr-Labeled Human Anti-CD147 Monoclonal Antibody as a Positron Emission Tomography Probe in a Mouse Model of Pancreatic Cancer
Aya Sugyo,Atsushi B. Tsuji,Hitomi Sudo,Kotaro Nagatsu,Mitsuru Koizumi,Yoshinori Ukai,Gene Kurosawa,Ming-Rong Zhang,Yoshikazu Kurosawa,Tsuneo Saga +9 more
TL;DR: [89Zr]059-053 is a promising PET probe for imaging CD147 expression in pancreatic cancer and has the potential to select appropriate patients with CD147-expressing tumors who could gain benefit from anti-CD147 therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of Efficacy of Radioimmunotherapy with 90Y-Labeled Fully Human Anti-Transferrin Receptor Monoclonal Antibody in Pancreatic Cancer Mouse Models.
Aya Sugyo,Atsushi B. Tsuji,Hitomi Sudo,Maki Okada,Mitsuru Koizumi,Hirokazu Satoh,Gene Kurosawa,Yoshikazu Kurosawa,Tsuneo Saga +8 more
TL;DR: 90Y-TSP-A01 is a promising RIT agent for pancreatic cancer, although further investigation is necessary to improve the efficacy for the radioresistant types like BxPC-3.
