Sahani,Thomas C. Smyrk,James Robert Stone,Masayuki Takahira,George Webster,Motohisa Yamamoto,Giuseppe Zamboni,Hisanori Umehara,John H. Stone +40 more
TL;DR: This statement proposes a terminology scheme for the diagnosis of IgG4-related disease that is based primarily on the morphological appearance on biopsy, and advocates the use of strict criteria for accepting newly proposed entities or sites as components of the IgG 4- related disease spectrum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long-term outcomes of autoimmune pancreatitis: a multicentre, international analysis
Phil A. Hart,Terumi Kamisawa,William R. Brugge,Jae Bock Chung,Emma L. Culver,László Czakó,Luca Frulloni,Vay Liang W. Go,Thomas M. Gress,Myung-Hwan Kim,Shigeyuki Kawa,Kyu Taek Lee,Markus M. TL;DR: In this article, the authors set out to better understand the current burden of AIP at several academic institutions diagnosed using the International Consensus Diagnostic Criteria, and to describe long-term outcomes, including organs involved, treatments, relapse frequency and longterm sequelae.
Journal ArticleDOI
Incubation phase of acute hepatitis B in man: dynamic of cellular immune mechanisms
George Webster,S. Reignat,Mala K. Maini,SA Whalley,Graham S. Ogg,Abigail S. King,David Brown,P. Amlot,Roger Williams,Diego Vergani,Geoffrey Dusheiko,Antonio Bertoletti +11 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the pattern of reduction in HBV replication is not directly proportional to tissue injury during acute hepatitis B in humans, and it is likely that the immune events central to viral control occur before symptomatic disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Longitudinal Analysis of CD8+ T Cells Specific for Structural and Nonstructural Hepatitis B Virus Proteins in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B: Implications for Immunotherapy
George Webster,S. Reignat,D. Brown,Graham S. Ogg,Louise Jones,Suranjith L. Seneviratne,Roger Williams,Geoffrey Dusheiko,Antonio Bertoletti +8 more
TL;DR: It is found that the profiles of virus-specific CD8+-T-cell responses during chronic infections are highly heterogeneous and influenced more by the level of HBV replication than by the activity of liver disease.
