Bispecific antibodies: design, therapy, perspectives
TL;DR: This review considers diverse BsAb-production methods, describes features of therapeutic Bs Abs approved for medical use, and summarizes the prospects of practical application of promising new BsAbs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Catalytic antibodies in healthy humans and patients with autoimmune and viral diseases.
TL;DR: New data is summarized on Abzs applications in basic science, medicine and biotechnology for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrolysis of myelin basic protein by polyclonal catalytic IgGs from the sera of patients with multiple sclerosis.
Dar’ya I. Polosukhina,Tat'yana G. Kanyshkova,Boris M. Doronin,Olga B. Tyshkevich,Valentina N. Buneva,Alexey N. Boiko,E. I. Gusev,Olga O. Favorova,Georgy A. Nevinsky +8 more
TL;DR: Evidence is presented demonstrating that highly purified MS IgGs (but not Igs from the sera of healthy individuals) catalyze specifically hydrolysis of human myelin basic protein (hMBP).
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanism of interaction between human 8-oxoguanine-DNA glycosylase and AP endonuclease
TL;DR: Evidence is presented that APE1 could actively displace O GG1 from its product, directly increasing the turnover of OGG1, and this data support a model in whichAPE1 specifically recognizes an OGG 1/DNA complex, distorts a stretch of DNA 5' to the OGG2 molecule, and actively displaces the glycosylase from the lesion.
