TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a presente trabalho e disponibilizar uma ferramenta, desenvolvida a partir do software Microsoft Excel, direcionada for o calculo dos escores e estatistica descritiva do instrumento WHOQOL-bref.

TL;DR: Simulations show that for most study designs and settings, it is more likely for a research claim to be false than true.
Abstract: There is increasing concern that most current published research findings are false. The probability that a research claim is true may depend on study power and bias, the number of other studies on the same question, and, importantly, the ratio of true to no relationships among the relationships probed in each scientific field. In this framework, a research finding is less likely to be true when the studies conducted in a field are smaller; when effect sizes are smaller; when there is a greater number and lesser preselection of tested relationships; where there is greater flexibility in designs, definitions, outcomes, and analytical modes; when there is greater financial and other interest and prejudice; and when more teams are involved in a scientific field in chase of statistical significance. Simulations show that for most study designs and settings, it is more likely for a research claim to be false than true. Moreover, for many current scientific fields, claimed research findings may often be simply accurate measures of the prevailing bias. In this essay, I discuss the implications of these problems for the conduct and interpretation of research.

Method:Descriptive study with quali-quantitative approach. The scenery was a nursing school of a public university where 22 professors were interviewed. For data collection, an instrument with open and closed questions was applied. Results: The study pointed out that 8 (36%) professors consider their level of stress as elevated. However, after the test application, the moderate level was more often gotten (36%). The stress generating situations, in professors opinions are about the categories work/qualification in first place (60%), followed by personal/social (26%). Conclusion: Stresses the importance of identifying the cause of stress,in order to seek alternative strategy to cope with the stimulus and reach a satisfactory resolution. Descriptors: Nursing, Stress, Work, Occupational health. TL;DR: It is confirmed that young adults with visual impairment may need more physical activity to become fitter and have a healthier body composition and low physical activity may influence higher prevalence of overweight and obesity among children andYoung adults with vision loss.
Abstract: The aim of the review was to evaluate current evidence-based knowledge about physical activity, physical fitness, and body composition among children and young adults with visual impairments. A systematic literature review of articles published between January 1984 and April 2014 inclusive was conducted. The participants were in the age range of 5–22 years. A total of 29 publications met the inclusion criteria. In general, the findings revealed lower levels of participation in physical activity, poorer physical fitness, and higher prevalence of overweight and obesity among children with visual impairments compared to children with no reported visual impairments. Lack of longitudinal observational studies and randomized clinical trials reduced the possibilities to draw cause–effect conclusions. However, the 23 cross-sectional studies confirmed that young adults with visual impairment may need more physical activity to become fitter and have a healthier body composition. Furthermore, low physical activity m...
