How Climate Extremes Influence Conceptual Rainfall-Runoff Model Performance and Uncertainty

TL;DR: In this paper , an evolutionary multi-objective search algorithm was used to develop sets of parameters which best simulate "wet" and "dry" periods, providing the upper and lower bounds for a temporal uncertainty analysis approach to identify variables which are affected by these climate extremes.

Climate change impacts on Protea species: PDEAR model predictions.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a bivariate partial differential equation associated regression (PDEAR) model for investigating the impacts from rainfall and temperature on the Protea species in the Cape Floristic Region, South Africa.

Hydrological Niche of Restionaceae Species in Silvermine South Africa

TL;DR: In this paper, a micro-climate at Silvermine was used to determine species hydrological niche, at a microclimate level in a semi-arid environment, in order to assess and monitor the Restionaceae species.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of elevated CO2 on the phenology and canopy structure of a C4 grassland microcosm

TL;DR: It is concluded that responses of community canopy structure to elevated CO2 may be dependent on water supply, and that species competitive interactions may influence community response to abiotic stress.
