Behavior of water droplet on polymer material and the influence on discharge characteristics

TL;DR: In this article, a water droplet was put on the polymer and the current and voltage characteristics of corona discharge was investigated under the application of AC voltage, using two different types of electrode systems.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Influence of water droplet size on aging of silicone rubber in the salt fog aging test

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of water droplet size on aging of silicone rubber samples in the salt fog aging test, three types of fogs which were made by different equipment and had different sizes were conducted for accelerated aging.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Chemical analysis of the surface of silicone rubber using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the experimental results of accelerated aging tests under two different types of experimental conditions were described, and the changes in chemical structure and hydrophobicity of silicone rubber sample before and after aging and cumulative charges were examined to study the influence of saline conductivity and elapsed time in the salt-fog aging.
