Journal ArticleDOI

Structural and morphological control of aligned nitrogen- doped carbon nanotubes

TL;DR: In this article, a floating catalyst chemical vapor deposition method was employed to effectively control nitrogen content within the carbon nanotubes and modulate their structure, showing that the inner structure of CNTs displayed a regular morphology transition from straight and smooth walls (0.% nitrogen) to cone-stacked shapes or bamboo-like structure (1.5%), then to corrugated structures (3.1% and above).
Journal ArticleDOI

Nitrogen Doping Effects on Carbon Nanotubes and the Origin of the Enhanced Electrocatalytic Activity of Supported Pt for Proton-Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

TL;DR: In this paper, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were synthesized by the floating catalyst chemical vapor deposition (FCCVD) method and Pt nanoparticles were deposited onto the two catalyst supports with the ethylene glycol reduction method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simple, reversible emulsion system switched by pH on the basis of chitosan without any hydrophobic modification.

TL;DR: It is determined that natural polymers with a stimulus-responsive sol-gel transition should be a good particulate emulsifier for various oil-water systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced stability of Pt electrocatalysts by nitrogen doping in CNTs for PEM fuel cells

TL;DR: In this article, the electrochemical stabilities of Pt deposited on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and nitrogen-doped carbon nanoxubes (CNx) of different nitrogen contents are compared with accelerated durability tests (ADT) for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

2,6-Dibenzhydryl-N-(2-phenyliminoacenaphthylenylidene)-4-methylbenzenamine Nickel Dibromides: Synthesis, Characterization, and Ethylene Polymerization

TL;DR: A series of 2,6-dibenzhydryl-N-(2-phenyliminoacenaphthylenylidene)-4-methylbenzenamines (L1−L5) and the nickel(II) dibromide complexes thereof (C1−C5) were synthesized and fully characterized.
