Towards reconstructing intelligible speech from the human auditory cortex.

TL;DR: The results show that a deep neural network model that directly estimates the parameters of a speech synthesizer from all neural frequencies achieves the highest subjective and objective scores on a digit recognition task, improving the intelligibility by 65% over the baseline method which used linear regression to reconstruct the auditory spectrogram.

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of urban greening on microclimate and pedestrian comfort is studied using ENVI met v4 for a residential district in Tabriz, Iran, where four scenarios with different trees species and patterns were simulated during typical summer and winter days, to assess benefits and disadvantages during different seasons.
