TL;DR: Solar neutrino measurements from 1258 days of data from the Super-Kamiokande detector are presented and the recoil electron energy spectrum is consistent with no spectral distortion.

TL;DR: The absence of significant zenith angle variation and spectrum distortion places strong constraints on neutrino mixing and mass difference in a flux-independent way, and two allowed regions at large mixing are found.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Features of Peer Argumentation in Middle School Students' Scientific Inquiry.
Heekyong Kim,Jinwoong Song +1 more
TL;DR: The authors examined the features of peer argumentation in middle school students' scientific inquiry and found that 75.6% of evidence used in students' arguments was personal evidence and students used various cognitive and social strategies in the critical discussion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Power laws in nonlinear granular chain under gravity
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the type of dispersion of a weak impulse propagates dispersively in a gravitationally compacted granular chain, and the power law for a grain displacement signal follows power laws in depth, and other depth-dependent power laws for oscillation frequency, wavelength and period were given by combining the above two expressions and the phase velocity power law.

The Exploration of Open Scientific Inquiry Model Emphasizing Students' Argumentation
Heekyong Kim,Jinwoong Song +1 more
TL;DR: The purpose of this paper is to review the recent studies about the argumentation and to explore the conditions and the model of argumentative scientific inquiry, which is specially designed open inquiry in order to facilitate students' peer argumentation.
