Journal ArticleDOI
Developmental defects of the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus and pituitary gonadotroph in the Ftz‐F1 disrupted mice
Koh Shinoda,Hong Lei,Hironori Yoshii,Masatoshi Nomura,Mamoru Nagano,Hiroharu Shiba,Hiroshi Sasaki,Yoshio Osawa,Yasuharu Ninomiya,Ohtsura Niwa,Ken Ichirou Morohashi,En Li +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, double immunostaining of the pituitary for Ad4BP and trophic peptide hor- mones, FSH, TSH, and ACTH, indicated a re-stricted localization of the transcription factor to the gonadotroph.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of TPA on aquaporin 4 mRNA expression in cultured rat astrocytes.
TL;DR: Aquaporin 4 mRNA is inhibited by TPA via PKC activation without de novo protein synthesis, and that the inhibition of AQP4 mRNA could be at the transcriptional level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synaptic connections from decrementing and constant inspiratory neurons in cat medulla
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Extracellular Matrix Macromolecules on the Differentiation of Plasma Membrane Structure in Cultured Astrocytes
TL;DR: A mixture of type IV collagen, laminin, and fibronectin, major components of the extracellular matrix, has the potency to increase assembly density in cultured astrocytes and, in freeze-fracture electron microscopy of cultured cells, one can satisfactorily preserve membrane structure and reliably obtain large replicas.
