TL;DR: In this paper, a developing device for an electrophotographic copier has a supply tank above a developing tank with an opening therebetween, and a sealing member is removably attached to the rims of this opening before the developing device is ready to be used.
Abstract: A developing device for an electrophotographic copier has a supply tank above a developing tank with an opening therebetween. A sealing member is removably attached to the rims of this opening before the developing device is ready to be used. An end part of this sealing member is attached to a take-up shaft and the sealing member is pulled or peeled off to be wound around the take-up shaft when the developing device is set in the copier and the shaft becomes connected to a motor in the copier.

TL;DR: In this article, a waste toner container has a partitioning wall disposed therein for partitioning the container whilst allowing communication between partitioned compartments, and a toner agitating element for mixing waste toners with unused toner is arranged inside the partitioned waste tonter collection compartment partitioned in the container.
Abstract: A toner container has a partitioning wall disposed therein for partitioning the toner container whilst allowing communication between partitioned compartments. A waste toner collecting port for receiving the waste toner collected by the cleaning unit of an image forming apparatus is formed in the waste toner collection compartment. A toner agitating element for mixing waste toner with unused toner is arranged inside the partitioned waste toner collection compartment partitioned in the toner container.

TL;DR: In this article, a toner agitator and a mixing device with an opening for supplying mixed toner to a developing apparatus are arranged within the main body of the toner cartridge, and two film sealing members for sealing the used toner recycling and toner supply openings.
Abstract: A toner cartridge having toner agitating and mixing properties. The structure insures image quality without increasing in complexity of the structure as well as capable of being compacted. A used toner recycling opening for dropping used toner by gravity is formed in an upper wall of a cartridge main body storing fresh toner. A toner agitator and a toner supply device with an opening for supplying mixed toner to a developing apparatus are arranged within the cartridge main body. The toner can be sufficiently mixed and agitated on a cartridge main body side without depending on a developing apparatus side, and the toner cartridge is prevented from being large-sized. In particular, since the used toner drops by gravity, a taking-in structure of this used toner is simplified, and a mixing work of the used toner with fresh toner is made irrespective of a moving direction of the toner agitator. Also, there are two film sealing members for sealing the used toner recycling and toner supply openings.

TL;DR: In this paper, a flexible element for converting an opening port of a toner supply container in an openable and closable manner is provided so that, when the container is joined to a developing unit, an external force acting on the developing unit or toner supplying container, deforms the flexible element to uncover the opening.
Abstract: A flexible element for converting an opening port of a toner supply container in an openable and closable manner is provided so that, when the toner supply container is joined to a developing unit, an external force acting on the developing unit or toner supplying container, deforms the flexible element to uncover the opening and when the toner supply container and developing unit are separated one from another, the opening port is covered by the flexible element.

TL;DR: In this paper, a developer supply container is rotated toward the supply position by increasing a rotation load of a second gear which is in an operable connection with a drive gear member of the developer receiving apparatus.
Abstract: If a user is not familiar with the operation for a developer supply container, the rotating operation for the developer supply container may be insufficient, so that developer supply container does not reach a predetermined operating position, with the result of abnormal developer supply. By increasing a rotation load of a second gear which is in an operable connection with a drive gear member of the developer receiving apparatus by a function of a locking member, the developer supply container mounted to the developer receiving apparatus is rotated toward the supply position. After the developer supply container rotates to the supply position, the locking by the locking member is released, by which the rotation load applied to the second gear is reduced, so that drive transmission, thereafter, to the feeding member for developer supply is smooth.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for proofing a prototype dynamic webpage version referencing first configuration data is disclosed, which can be derived from a live version referencing second configuration data and accessible via a live link.
Abstract: A method for proofing a prototype dynamic webpage version referencing first configuration data is disclosed. The prototype dynamic webpage can be derived from a live version referencing second configuration data and accessible via a live link. The method includes storing first configuration data in a configuration database also containing second configuration data, providing a prototype link to the prototype dynamic webpage version dissimilar from the live link; and returning, upon a prototype link request, the prototype dynamic webpage version, involving rendering the prototype dynamic webpage version based on the first configuration data without altering the live dynamic webpage version. Also disclosed is a dynamic webpage versioning system working off a configuration database and distinct versions of configuration data.
