TL;DR: Data collected demonstrate that there is a strong association between GBA mutations and Parkinson's disease, and those with a GBA mutation presented earlier with the disease, were more likely to have affected relatives, and were morelikely to have atypical clinical manifestations.

DLG2, but not TMEM229B, GPNMB, and ITGA8 polymorphism, is associated with Parkinson's disease in a Taiwanese population
TL;DR: Data suggested that DLG2, but not TMEM229B, GPNMB, and ITGA8, influenced the risk of PD in Taiwan, as suggested in the genome-wide association studies.
polymorphisms have synergic effect on the risk of Parkinson's disease among Taiwanese
