Disinfectant resistance in bacteria: Mechanisms, spread, and resolution strategies.

TL;DR: In this article, a review focused on the resistance mechanisms of disinfectant resistant bacteria on biofilms, cell membrane permeability, efflux pumps, degradable enzymes, and disinfectant targets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chlorine disinfectants promote microbial resistance in Pseudomonas sp.

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of chlorine disinfectants in developing multiple resistance in Pseudomonas sp. isolated from the river through antioxidant enzyme measurement, global transcriptional analyses, Gene Ontology (GO), and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Impact of Irrigation on Bacterial Community Composition and Diversity in Liaohe Estuary Wetland

TL;DR: In this paper, the sequencing of 16S ribosomal DNA was used to characterize the soil bacterial community composition and diversity in Liaohe estuarine wetland, and the results showed that the organic matter and nutrient contents were significantly higher in irrigated wetland than those in natural wetland.
