Journal ArticleDOI
Structure and electronic transport properties of polyaniline/NaFe4P12 composite
TL;DR: In this article, the conductivity and thermopower of polyaniline and the composites were measured using X-ray diffraction, infrared spectra, thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and electron diffraction (ED).
Journal ArticleDOI
Exopolysaccharide microchannels direct bacterial motility and organize multicellular behavior
James E. Berleman,James E. Berleman,James E. Berleman,Marcin Zemla,Jonathan P. Remis,Hong Liu,Hong Liu,Annie E. Davis,Alexandra N Worth,Alexandra N Worth,Zachary West,Zachary West,Angela Zhang,Hanwool Park,Elena Bosneaga,Brandon Van Leer,Wen-Ting K Tsai,David R. Zusman,Manfred Auer +18 more
TL;DR: The structural role of matrix exopolysaccharide (EPS) in the organization of surface-dwelling bacterial cells is examined and it is found that Myxococcus xanthus cell organization in biofilms is dependent on the formation of EPS microchannels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Strategy for discovering chemical inhibitors of human cyclophilin a: focused library design, virtual screening, chemical synthesis and bioassay.
Jian Li,Jian Zhang,Jing Chen,Xiaomin Luo,Weiliang Zhu,Jianhua Shen,Hong Liu,Xu Shen,Hualiang Jiang +8 more
TL;DR: A series of novel small molecular CypA inhibitors have been discovered using a strategy integrating focused combinatorial library design, virtual screening, chemical synthesis, and bioassay, demonstrating the efficiency of the strategy for focused library design and screening.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oxygen-vacancy and phosphate coordination triggered strain engineering of vanadium oxide for high-performance aqueous zinc ion storage
TL;DR: In this article, a strain engineering of vanadium oxide, through oxygen vacancy and phosphate group coordination, is developed, which contributes to the abundant zinc-ion storage sites and weakens the strong interaction between intercalated zinc ions and the host structure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multi-interfacial engineering of hierarchical CoNi2S4/WS2/Co9S8 hybrid frameworks for robust all-pH electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution
TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-interfacial engineering in hierarchical CoNi2S4/WS2/Co9S8 (NiCoWS) hybrid framework was developed.
