Journal ArticleDOI
Inclusion complexes of chlorzoxazone with β- and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin: Characterization, dissolution, and cytotoxicity.
TL;DR: Preliminary in vitro cytotoxicity tests showed that the HP-β-CD complexes are less toxic to normal liver cells than free chlorzoxazone and can be used to design novel formulations of chlorz oxazone.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rapid and efficient removal of estrogenic pollutants from water by using beta- and gamma-cyclodextrin polymers
Peixiao Tang,Qiaomei Sun,Zili Suo,Ludan Zhao,Hongqin Yang,Xinnuo Xiong,Hongyu Pu,Na Gan,Hui Li +8 more
TL;DR: The potential of CD polymers, especially γ-CDP, in rapidly and efficiently removing estrogen pollutants was showed, and their adsorption efficiency on estrogen pollutants at environmentally relevant concentrations was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interactions of cinnamaldehyde and its metabolite cinnamic acid with human serum albumin and interference of other food additives
TL;DR: The interactions of cinnamaldehyde (CNMA), a food perfume, and its major metabolite cinnamic acid (CA) with human serum albumin (HSA) were examined by multiple-spectroscopies and increased the knowledge regarding the safety and biological action of CNMA and CA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mesalazine/hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin/chitosan nanoparticles with sustained release and enhanced anti-inflammation activity
Peixiao Tang,Qiaomei Sun,Ludan Zhao,Hongyu Pu,Hongqin Yang,Shuangshuang Zhang,Ruixue Gan,Na Gan,Hui Li +8 more
TL;DR: The established HP-β-CD/MSZ/CS NPs may be a promising delivery system of MSZ and more strongly inhibited the production of NO, PGE2, and IL-8, indicating the NPs possibly had better anti-inflammatory effects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation on the interaction of antibacterial drug moxifloxacin hydrochloride with human serum albumin using multi-spectroscopic approaches, molecular docking and dynamical simulation
TL;DR: Hydrogen bonds and VDW force played major roles in stabilizing the MOXH–HSA complex, and hydrophobic force was also involved in the binding process.
