Journal ArticleDOI

Probing carboxylic acid groups in replaced and mixed self-assembled monolayers by individual ionized dendrimer molecules: An atomic force microscopy study

TL;DR: In this article, polyphenylene dendrimer molecules, G2Td(COOH)16, were ionized (G2 ions) and then adsorbed on a carboxylic acid group terminated self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on a Au substrate through the linkage with Cu2+ ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quasi-Epitaxial Growth of Magnetic Nanostructures on 4H-Au Nanoribbons.

TL;DR: Using the 4H-Au nanoribbons as templates, four novel magnetic nanostructures are synthesized based on the quasi-epitaxial growth of metal nanomaterials, showing similar Curie temperature, however, their magnetic behaviors exhibit distinct temperature dependence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Generative adversarial networks in medical image segmentation: A review

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reviewed more than 120 GAN-based architectures for medical image segmentation that were published before September 2021 and categorized and summarized these papers according to the segmentation regions, imaging modality, and classification methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Health risks from arsenic-contaminated soil in Flin Flon―Creighton, Canada: Integrating geostatistical simulation and dose―response model

TL;DR: Results indicated that local residents could face non-negligible cancer risks (skin cancer and liver cancer mainly) and reducing uncertainties would require additional soil sampling, epidemic records as well as complementary studies on land use, demographic variation, outdoor activities and bioavailability of arsenic.
Journal ArticleDOI

A nanomedicine based combination therapy based on QLPVM peptide functionalized liposomal tamoxifen and doxorubicin against Luminal A breast cancer

TL;DR: It is suggested that the nanomedicine based combination therapy using QLPVM-SSL-TAM and Q LPVM- SSL-DOX might provide a rational strategy for Luminal A breast cancer.
