Twelve cadmium native bacteria previously isolated in soils of cocoa farms located in the western Colombian Andes (Santander), and tolerant to 2500 µM CdCl2 (120 mg Cd/L), were chosen in order to test their tolerance and Cd immobilization using liquid culture medium (Nutritive broth) at different concentrations of heavy metals. Furthermore, in the greenhouse experiments, the strains Exiguobacterium sp. (11-4A), Klebsiella variicola sp. (18-4B), and Enterobacter sp. (29-4B) were applied in combined treatments using CCN51 cacao genotype seeds grown in soil with different concentrations of Cd. All bacterial strains’ cell morphologies were deformed in TEM pictures, which also identified six strain interactions with biosorption and four strain capacities for bioaccumulation; FT-IR suggested that the amide, carbonyl, hydroxyl, ethyl, and phosphate groups on the bacteria biomass were the main Cd binding sites. In the pot experiments, the concentration of Cd was distributed throughout the cacao plant, but certain degrees of immobilization of Cd can occur in soil to prevent an increase in this level in roots with the presence of Klebsiella sp.

The invention provides an acid soil conditioner for tea gardens and a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of soil conditioning. The raw acid soil conditionercomprises the following raw material components in parts by weight: 5-6 parts of decomposed pig manure, 2-5 parts of biochar, 2-5 parts of water hyacinth dry powder, 0-0.5 part of polyacrylamide and0-0.5 part of dolomite powder. The acid soil conditioner is obtained by drying, crushing and mixing the decomposed pig manure, the water hyacinth and the biochar, and adding the polyacrylamide and thedolomite. The invention relates to a microbial agent, in particular to a biochar-based microbial agent as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The biochar-based microbial agent comprises biochar and (Ralstonia sp.) Ralstonia bcul-1 adsorbed on the biochar. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1), preparing a biochar-(Ralstonia sp.) Ralstonia bcul-1 mixed solution containing biochar, sodium alginate and a (Ralstonia sp.) Ralstonia bcul-1 seed solution, and performing standing overnight at a room temperature; (2), slowly dropwise adding the mixed solution into a calciumchloride solution with the mass concentration of 1%, continuously performing stirring, performing crosslinking to obtain a product, and cleaning the product with deionized water to obtain a microbialagent. The microbial agent is used for repairing heavy metal polluted water. According to the invention, zinc pollution is repaired by using physical adsorption and bioanalysis; the preparation methodhas advantages of simple operation, high remediation efficiency, no secondary pollution and the like; and the biochar-based microbial agent as well as a preparation method and application thereof have great application potential.
