Abstract: Cost of building production is the economic value during the process from bid to construction, and then to acceptance. The cost born during each element above constitutes the building-production cost. The construction companies should apply the cost management method to engineering practice, enhance cost management, develop its own internal potentiality, decrease its cost, thus increase the company’s economic profits.

TL;DR: The method provided can be used to analyze the rule of materials procurement and storage cost and make a correct decision, or to solve the problem of analyzing and forecasting procurement andstorage cost of the main material in construction projects under the relevant factors (single or multiple) uncertain.
Abstract: This paper studies optimization problem of materials procurement, storage in construction projects. With the thought of operations research, it designs objective function and constrained conditions for a materials procurement and storage optimization model. To testify the model, a specific project is studied. According to historical market data, it simulates the target cost while the factors such as market price changes to find a best cost plan by MATLAB. The method provided can be used to analyze the rule of materials procurement and storage cost and make a correct decision, or to solve the problem of analyzing and forecasting procurement and storage cost of the main material in construction projects under the relevant factors (single or multiple) uncertain.
