Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm with Mutation Operator for Particle Filter Noise Reduction in Mechanical Fault Diagnosis

TL;DR: A new particle swarm optimization particle filter algorithm (NPSO-PF) is proposed, which is called particle cluster optimization particles filter algorithm with mutation operator, and it is proposed that the particle filter can be tuned according to the number of particles in a swarm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Finite Element Analysis Model on Ultrasonic Phased Array Technique for Material Defect Time of Flight Diffraction Detection

TL;DR: In this paper, a finite element method (FEM) for phased array technology in ultrasonic time of flight diffraction (TOFD) for defect detection of two-dimensional (2-D) geometric materials was researched.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-fault Condition Monitoring of Slurry Pump with Principle Component Analysis and Sequential Hypothesis Test

TL;DR: A new method about the multi-fault condition monitoring of slurry pump based on principal component analysis (PCA) and sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) is proposed.

Method and system for detecting and positioning micro-cracks based on ultrasonic phased array

TL;DR: In this article, a method and a system for detecting and positioning micro-cracks based on an ultrasonic phased array was proposed, which comprises the following steps of loading a lowfrequency excitation signal onto a defect specimen by a low-frequency ultrasonic probe, loading a high-frequency exexcitation signal on a defect sample by an UAV transducer, and enabling the low frequency excitation signals and the high frequency excitations to mutually act and generate an echo signal; collecting the echo signal, and filtering the echo signals; performing time reversalsimulation treatment

Fault Diagnosis of Gearbox Based on Principal Component Analysis and Sequential Probability Ratio Test

TL;DR: A novel method for diagnosing gear crack in gearbox based on principal component analysis (PCA) and sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) and the results indicate that this method is feasible and practical to classify different conditions of the gearbox.
