Distribution and seasonal occurrence of UV filters in rivers and wastewater treatment plants in Korea.

TL;DR: A seasonal increase of >27% was observed in the total concentration of the UV filters in the rivers and influents of the treatment plants (TPs) during summer, and BP, BP-3, EHMC, 4-MBC, and EHS were the most dominant, showing a distinct distribution pattern that was dependent on the effectiveness of thereatment process and properties of each compound.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for anomalous production of multilepton events in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

A. Abulencia, +638 more
TL;DR: A search for anomalous production of events with three or more isolated leptons in pp collisions at s = 7TeV is presented, and exclusion limits as a function of squark, gluino, and chargino masses are derived.
Journal ArticleDOI

Core Pluripotency Factors Directly Regulate Metabolism in Embryonic Stem Cell to Maintain Pluripotency.

TL;DR: This study identifies a direct molecular connection between core pluripotency factors and ESC metabolic signatures and demonstrates the significance of metabolism in cell fate determination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atmospheric neutrino oscillations from upward throughgoing muon multiple scattering in MACRO

M. Ambrosio, +119 more
- 24 Jul 2003 -
TL;DR: In this article, the energy of atmospheric neutrinos detected by MACRO was estimated using multiple Coulomb scattering of upward throughgoing muons, relying on the distortion of the muon energy distribution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for neutral MSSM Higgs bosons decaying into a pair of bottom quarks

Vardan Khachatryan, +2379 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for neutral Higgs bosons decaying into a b (b) over bar quark pair and produced in association with at least one additional b quark is presented.
