TL;DR: Guidelines summarize and evaluate all currently available evidence on a particular issue with the aim of assisting physicians in selecting the best management strategy for an individual patient suffering from a given condition, taking into account the impact on outcome, as well as the risk–benefit ratio of particular diagnostic or therapeutic means.
Journal ArticleDOI
Double vessel extension of spontaneous left main coronary artery dissection in young women treated with thrombolytics.
TL;DR: A 42‐year‐old woman who was admitted to the emergency unit of a regional hospital with central chest pain and electrocardiographic signs of extensive acute anterior myocardial infarction was treated with thrombolytics, yet her condition deteriorated rapidly, resulting in cardiogenic shock.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tachycardia induced cardiomyopathy in dogs; relation between chronic supraventricular and chronic ventricular tachycardia
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that chronic SVT and VT result in left ventricular dysfunction in a relatively short time, even if the heart rate is not very high, and Deterioration ofleft ventricular ejection fraction and dilation of the left ventricle are more marked in chronic VT than in Chronic SVT.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Inflammation markers in patients with coronary artery disease--comparison of intracoronary and systemic levels.
TL;DR: Excess circulating inflammation markers, being characteristic of unstable coronary artery disease, are released from noncoronary sources, thereby transforming coronary disease from a stable to an unstable form.
