TL;DR: In this paper, a top-flow type outdoor machine is provided with air supplying openings on its side-face sides and a heat exchanger 8 on its back side, and a corner guide 18a is provided to the void of each corner section formed of the front-face plate 2, sideface plate, roof plate 6, and bell mouth of the machine.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact and silent an outdoor machine for an air conditioner which uses the air blowing-out surface of an axial fan installed to the upper section of an enclosure as its upper surface by providing a corner guide to at least one of the void sections in the corner sections formed of the front-face plate, roof plate, and one side-face plate which is adjacent to the front-face plate SOLUTION: A top-flow type outdoor machine 1 is provided with air supplying openings on its side-face sides and a heat exchanger 8 on its back side The machine 1 is also provided with a compressor 9, an accumulator 10, an axial fan, a bell mouth 12, etc, and a heat-exchanged wind exhausted front the fan 11 is discharged upward after passing through an exhaust pipe 7 and a guard net 16 In the machine 1, a corner guide 18a is provided to the void of each corner section formed of the front-face plate 2, side-face plate, roof plate 6, and bell mouth of the machine 1 Therefore, the outdoor machine 1 can be operated silently, because the heat-exchanged wind sucked from the heat exchanger 8 is prevented front staying in the voids of the corner sections and, at the same time, the efficiency deterioration of the fan 11 caused by uneven flows in the circumferential direction can be suppressed

TL;DR: In this article, the heat exchanger is configured in such a way that the air-flow resistance of an area facing the outer peripheral side of the fan is larger than the air flow resistance of the area facing a center portion.
Abstract: An indoor unit (100) includes a casing (1) having a suction port (2) formed on an upper portion and a blow-out port (3) on a lower side of a front surface portion, an axial-flow or mixed-flow fan (20) provided on the downstream side of the suction port (2) in the casing (1), and a heat exchanger (50) provided in the casing (1) at a position on the downstream side of the fan (20) and on the upstream side of the blow-out port (3). The heat exchanger (50) includes a plurality of fins (56) arranged side by side with predetermined gaps therebetween and a plurality of heat-transfer tubes (57) penetrating through the plurality of fins (56). The heat exchanger is configured in such a manner that the air-flow resistance of an area facing the outer peripheral side of the fan (20) is larger than the air-flow resistance of an area facing a center portion of the fan (20).

TL;DR: In this paper, the axial fan and an electrical equipment box are arranged inside the casing and a larger surface area in a plan view than the first box part is provided below the Axial fan.
Abstract: The present invention reduces the size of an outdoor refrigerator unit of the type that draws in air from a lateral face, exchanges heat with the air, and blows the air out of a top face while ensuring that the electrical equipment box has sufficient volume and suppressing the increase in the air flow resistance. The air conditioning system outdoor unit is of the type that draws in air from air inlets provided in the rear panel and a pair of side panels of a casing, exchanges heat with the air, and blows the air out through an air outlet provided in a top panel. The outdoor unit is provided with an axial fan and an electrical equipment box arranged inside the casing. The electrical equipment box is arranged inside the casing and has a first box part that is provided below the axial fan and a second box part that is provided below the first box part and has a larger surface area in a plan view than the first box part.

TL;DR: In this article, a heat exchanger is equipped with a plurality of tabular fins laminated at predetermined intervals for letting air flow in between, a flat heat transfer tube 15 inserted between these fins 11 along an air stream direction and having refrigerant flowing inside, and headers mounted to both end parts of the heat transfer tubes 15.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for reducing a dead water area on a rear flow side of a heat transfer tube, reducing ventilation resistance, and improving the heat exchanging efficiency, easy to be manufactured, and capable of reducing cost, its manufacturing method, and an air-conditioning/refrigerating device using the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is equipped with a plurality of tabular fins 11 laminated at predetermined intervals for letting air flow in between, a plurality of flat heat transfer tubes 15 inserted between these fins 11 along an air stream direction and having refrigerant flowing inside, and headers mounted to both end parts of the heat transfer tubes 15. The flat heat transfer tube 15 in its minor axis direction is formed to become gradually narrower toward the downstream side of the air-stream direction. A plurality of nearly L-shaped partition walls 17 which become convex toward the downstream side are provided at nearly equal intervals in the major axis direction inside the heat transfer tube 15. A plurality of refrigerant flow passages 18 are formed by the partition walls 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

TL;DR: In this article, an outdoor air heat exchanger is configured so that the heat transfer tube (301) intersects the fins (302) at intervals based on the volume of inflow air due to the positional relationship with the blower fan (202).
Abstract: The present invention has a plurality of fins (302) arranged in a line, and a heat transfer tube (301) that intersects the fins (302) in a plurality of locations and that is used for transferring the heat of refrigerant that passes through the tube. The present invention is provided with: an outdoor air heat exchanger (103) composed of an air heat exchanger (201) for performing heat exchange between the refrigerant and air; and a blower fan (202) for forming an airflow that passes through the outdoor air heat exchanger (103). The outdoor air heat exchanger (103) is configured so that the heat transfer tube (301) intersects the fins (302) at intervals based on the volume of inflow air due to the positional relationship with the blower fan (202).
